Mummy Dust to make me old. To shroud my clothes, the Black of Night. To age my voice, an Old Hag's Cackle. To whiten my hair, a Scream of Fright. A Blast of Wind to fan my hate! A Thunder Bolt to mix it well! Now... begin thy Magic Spell!
~ Queen Grimhilde creating her insidious concoction that will allow her to change into an old hag for her disguise.
All right, brain, I don't like you and you don't like me - so let's just do this and I'll get back to killing you with beer.

Formulae (commonly referred to as Formulas) are the chemicals that were created and used for dangerous purposes by sinister mad geniuses and greedy criminals as well as other different villains including evil wizards and wicked witches.

Drugs (fictional and real) are chemical-based substances, often artificially made, that can have negative effects on life - common examples are steroids, narcotics and various sedatives. Drugs are often addictive and can have a damaging effect on the user - drugs are a major contributor to crime and other social ills but have varying classifications. Drugs in fiction are normally portrayed to have qualities that are even worse than those found in reality, with things such as "super" steroids and so forth being common tools both for the power-mad and insane as well as ruthless criminals.
