The Goblin City
The Goblin City, also known as the Goblin Kingdom, is a city at the centre of the Labyrinth within its own namesake world in the 1986 fantasy movie Labyrinth, and it features the Castle at the Center of the Labyrinth as its centrepiece. The Goblin City is composed of a range of ramshackle, oddly shaped buildings that are occupied by Jareth's Goblin subjects and his royal guards who called this land home. The City is also located right next to the Junk City outside the city gates.
The Goblins spend much of their time in the castle rather than in the city, so the streets frequently appear empty other than a few chickens running around. Around the city stands a large wall with 2 doors, one inside the other. The first door is guarded by a sleeping Goblin, while the second is guarded by Humongous.
The city was the setting for a great battle, fought between the Goblins and Sarah WIlliams and her friends before they went confronting the Goblin King himself and rescuing her baby brother Toby.
