The Goblin Glider is both a mode of transportation and a weapon utilized by the Green Goblin, as well as Green Goblin II and the Hobgoblin. It is bat-shaped, and has electromagnetic footholds for the user to ride on.
Characteristics
In comics, the Goblin Glider is developed from flying witch broom-styled rocket that he ride on like a motorbike but capable to take flight. This witch broom-styled rocket later discarded in favor of more advanced Goblin Glider. The pilot is attached to the glider via electromagnetic clasps on the wings of the glider. It has great maneuverability and is steered mostly by leaning, but manual controls are available behind the head of the glider. The Green Goblin later added radio-linked voice controls to his mask, thus allowed the mental control. Its top speed is 90 miles per hour (140 km/h), and it can support about 400 lb (180 kg), though it could lift far more for brief periods. Flying at top speed with a full load and a full fuel tank would deplete its fuel supply in about an hour.
Later on, this glider would be developed so it can also store Pumpkin Bombs and other weapons, and release knockout gas. A long blade can also extend from the front of the glider.
Other Incarnations
The Goblin Glider's other versions in other media is mostly faithful with the comic incarnation, though they mostly already armed with weapons and Pumpkin Bomb Storage which eliminated the need for Bag of Tricks.
