"The Imperial March" is the main theme of Darth Vader from the Star Wars franchise.
It has come to be recognized as one of the most iconic villain themes of all time and is often used in homages, parodies and similar works, for it is especially used as a symbol of oppression and the dark side of order, as much as Darth Vader himself has also become a similar symbol of tyranny.
The Imperial March is entirely instrumental, with no lyrics, however it has managed to retain immense popularity across several generations.
A variation of the piece appears in Star Wars Rebels as the Galactic Empire's anthem, "Glory to the Empire".
