The KAOS Kore is the region located between K3 and Razor Ridge in the Northern Kremisphere that previously served as King K. Rool's hideout in his scientist days as Baron K. Roolenstein. It is one of the many locations in the Donkey Kong universe.

It may seem to be a serene area with a large lake, but actually it is dangerous and risky because of a electrical storm, surrounded by jungles, the water of the area is filled with a disorienting poison due to a vast network of chemical-transporting pipes in the area and cavern haunted by creepy Ghost Barrels and guarded by dangerous Koindozers.

Also, oddly, the forests, or at least a portion of one in the KAOS Kore, are filled with conveyor belt like vines. At the northernmost tip of te KAOS Kore is the Kastle KAOS, the hideout of the Kremling Krew's new "leader" KAOS, whom the area and castle is named after. The Kastle KAOS also hides Baron K. Roolenstein, KAOS' creator and master.

Baffle Bear, the code-cracker, is located in the KAOS Kore region.

KAOS Kore's Banana Bird Cave is located in a caged-off pipe, which is opened by making figure-8's around the rocks south of it. The only way for the Kongs to learn about this is with the aid of Baffle and a Mirror.

As the name suggests, it was the "core" of the trouble in Donkey Kong Country 3 as Dixie Kong and her cousin Kiddy took on the dangers of the land to save both Donkey Kong and Diddy. This place started with and an easy battle with KAOS then a hard battle with Baron K. Roolenstein.
