Lexo-Skel Suit 5000

The Lexo-Skel Suit 5000 is a robotic suit created by Lex Luthor. It first appeared in Part 2 of the episode Last Son of Krypton of Superman: The Animated Series.

History

It was developed by Luthor to be combat suit and design to be piloted by a single person. Luthor said he developed the suit to end war but in truth was planning to sell it to the corrupt nation Kaznia so they can use it for violence against their enemies. Lex Luthor arranged it and made it look like a theft during the public demonstration.

While the suit is in the hands of the terrorist using it as a weapon of mass destruction, the government would fund Luthor to build another one more powerful and would put Luthor in a win win situation. Lois Lane tracked Corben to a Kaznia freighter based on Kent's observation of on a picture of Lex Luthor with the leader of Kaznia and found the battle suit locked up in the freighter where it's ready to be shipped to Kaznia. Corben captured Lois but she was later rescued by Superman. John went into the Lexo-Skel to fight Superman after his henchmen were defeated.

John uses the suit and fights Superman as well as destroying buildings. Superman destroyed the suit and took Corben to custody.

Powers and Equipment

The suit has a heavy chain gun and built-in jetpack. It is also heavily armored and has missile launchers. The suit was powerful enough to give Superman trouble.

    Lexo-Skel Suit 5000 (under its alternative name "LexoSkel Suit 5000) made an appearance in the 1999 adventure videogame Superman (also known as Superman: The New Adventures and Superman 64).
